03 — Logo usage

Clear space, contrast, do / don’t

Clear space ≈ mark height. Do not stretch. Prefer library instances and published packs.

Do

  • Keep aspect ratio — never stretch the mark or wordmark.
  • Clear space ≈ height of the S-mark (or wordmark cap height).
  • Use light masters on light fields (dark ink); dark masters on dark fields.
  • Prefer library component instances from Logos & Marks.
  • Email: compact PNG. Documents: legal SVG/PNG.

Don’t

  • No drop shadows, outlines, or recolored brand gold.
  • Do not rotate, skew, or crop through the mark.
  • Do not place light masters on dark fields (or vice versa).
  • Do not recreate wordmarks in free text — use masters.
  • Do not use SOTFWARE spelling — SOFTWARE PTY LTD only.
